Beyond Basics: First Aid Immersion
A Full-Day, Hands-On Training Experience
-
Hands-on Simulation Trainers
Just a few of the hands-on training supplies you’ll use include the gunshot wound packing trainer, Narcan trainer, and CPR facemasks. These essential tools provide realistic practice opportunities that build confidence and skills for emergency situations. The gunshot wound packing trainer allows you to practice life-saving hemorrhage control techniques, while the Narcan trainer equips you with the ability to respond effectively to opioid overdoses. CPR facemasks ensure safe and proper rescue breathing during CPR training, making your learning experience both practical and impactful.

CPR Feedback Manikins & Automated External Defibrillators
Our manikins provide immediate feedback for chest compressions through built-in sensors that accurately measure the depth, rate, and recoil of each compression. This real-time information enables learners to instantly refine their technique, ensuring proper hand placement and consistent pressure are maintained throughout the practice. In addition to enhancing skill retention and boosting confidence, this immediate feedback makes training sessions more effective and closely mirrors real-life CPR situations. Complementing this, we incorporate simulated automated external defibrillator (AED) trainers that allow users to practice the critical steps of defibrillation in a safe, controlled environment. By integrating AED simulation with our sensor-equipped manikins, we offer a comprehensive, hands-on experience that prepares learners for the full spectrum of emergency cardiac care.

Hands-on Practice
During the First-Aid Immersion you’ll engage in repetitive hands-on training that builds confidence and competence across a variety of critical emergency skills. You’ll become proficient with Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and gain practical experience administering epinephrine autoinjectors for allergic reactions and Narcan autoinjectors for opioid overdoses. Training covers severe bleeding control techniques, including tourniquet use and improvised methods, as well as wound packing and managing gunshot or laceration scenarios. You’ll also practice splinting broken bones using both commercial and improvised materials. Our comprehensive simulations include seizure care, heart attack response, overdose emergencies, and environmental emergencies such as snake bites and heat or cold illnesses, so you’ll be prepared for a wide range of real-world situations.
Why Take This Class?
Most first aid courses stop at the basics. This 7–8 hour immersive workshop goes further — giving you the hands-on time, advanced skills, and real-world practice to respond in critical moments.
